Default Low doses of PEDs help athletes and stay undetected!

Low doses of PEDs help athletes and stay undetected »

    By Teri Thompson

Those who seriously follow the anti-doping movement in sports could not have been surprised by the recent reports that "microdosing" - using small amounts of banned substances that stay below the testing trigger levels - is a favored technique of athletes looking to gain a competitive advantage.
BALCO founder Victor Conte has been espousing the theory for years that low doses work, and stay below detection levels, including low doses of testosterone.
In the wake of a study saying that researchers in Australia and France have found that micro-dosing of testosterone and EPO eludes the biological passport program that was supposed to overcome the shortcomings of conventional testing, Conte responds:

"It is being reported that there are elite athletes using a method of administering testosterone and EPO known as microdosing. Anti-doping officials now admit that when microdosing techniques are used, these drugs are undetectable by the available testing methods.

"I've been saying for several years that there are still huge loopholes in the testing methods being utilized. Just late last year, some of the top anti-doping officials were publicly suggesting that the war on drugs in sport was close to being over. This is far from the truth.

"In fact, I have been made aware that there are still undetectable designer steroids being used by elite athletes. Even when athletes are subjected to the highest standard of testing available, there are many athletes out there with the knowledge, desire and ability to circumvent the existing testing methods. I'm sad to say that the truth is that the war against drug use in sports is far from being over and may never be."

A losing battle for sure. When the 100 meter dash gets broken every week something is obviously going on.

Amen. There are a lot of genetic freaks in this world but, at some point the natural human body is only capable of so much.
