LeBron NY
Under one circumstance, it has been reported that LeBron James could choose a coach, and, now, a report in New York suggests he could play a role in the Knicks' next GM hire. James could have major input in that decision if he is here, but former Warriors GM Chris Mullin, who is tight with [Knicks team president Donnie] Walsh from their Indiana days, seems a natural fit and long has been considered a candidate to be Walsh's heir apparent. Allan Houston, assistant to the president who will be a key recruiter this July (he's longtime friends with James' advisor, William Wesley), could be nearing a promotion. When Walsh hired Houston, he admitted he was grooming him to be a general manager.

Staying in Cleveland. If Lebron wanted a particular coach in Cleveland and that person was willing to go there, he could pick him and dosent matter who it is if Lebron wanted him he would be there. Lebron has chosen not to do that though and leave it up to the Cavs to show how much they are willing to do.
Like I said though, staying in Cleveland and look for Cleveland to make a run at Bosh.
Somthing noone on here has mentioned is that if a sign and trade were to happen with Cleveland an another team, the Lakers would be willing to Part ways with Bynum and Odom for Lebron and Varejeo or even a slight possibility that they would be willing to give up Kobe. Funny how Kobe wanted a No trade clause in his new 90mil 3 year deal(he knew damn well about this being a HUGE free agency summer) but the Lakers WOULDNT put it in the contract......funny how Lebron is scheduled to make right at around 28 if he stays in Cleveland. Money matches up perfectly and I GUARANTEE YOU the lakers DIDNT allow the no trade clause in case Cleveland were to put somthing like that up and Lebron agree to sign and trade.

LeBron should go to Miami with Dwayne Wade. Miami is a nice place to live every time I see pics on tv.

Why would the Cavs want an older Kobe instead of LeBron. That would be pretty dumb of them.

Lebron in LA? for the lakers? thatd be badass he's not staying in cleveland thats a fact..... too many better options out there for him....remember what Kevin Garrnett said that if he could go back and do it over again he would have left minnessota sooner to join the Celtics. if winning is what Lebron wants, and it is, then Cleveland is not the place.

How can you say its not the place? They have been to the finals, conference finals multiple times, best record in the league 3 times(i dont care if they are in the east, look at their record against the West). The ONLY way that is better for him to leave as far as winning is if he goes ALONG WITH another superstar somewhere. If he goes to New York by himself, thats at least 2 years to win. The only place he could really go(other than Miami which hes not going to play with wade) and realisticly look to win without them acquiring another big name to go with him is the Clippers or the Mavs.

No one can set a timetable when and if he is gonna win a ring. Thats like saying Alexander Ovechkin needs another center and they will in two years.
Its pure guessing.
