First off, welcome to Rx. Second, go ahead and use p90x, heard that people get great results from it.

Congrats on your progress so far! I encourage you to check out the diet & training forums as well. Its great to develop a whole toolkit of things to tweak progress & keep it interesting so its a lifestyle and not a "program".

Yea I personally do not do P90x but have both that and the insanity videos! The exercises and plan will work just stick to them.
I do circuit training which is in a way similar! Great development from the workouts!

In other words Northernbeauty, listen to GREENMACHINE23, he knows what he's talking about, if you want to burn fat, you pretty much have to up your healthy fat intake other wise your be in fat storing mode because of too much carb consumption and very little fat intake. And GREENMACHINE23 forgot to mention that you can eat your carbs but you have to consume carbs at the right times. For example, consume your carbs for breakfast, preworkout, and postworkout or consume them for preworkout and postworkout only on training days and then the rest of the meals will be protein, healthy fats, and vegetables. On nontraining days, consume your carbs early in the day(first two to three meals) and then the rest of the meals just consume protein, healthy fats, and vegetables that way your insulin levels will drop and you will be in fat burning mode as oppose to fat storing mode.
