First off - Congratulations on taking the necessary steps to reclaim your body! It is a very rewarding path you have chosen.
I would start with these two (available from Amazon):
Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier
Underground Bodyopus: Militant Weight Loss & Recomposition by Daniel Duchaine
I would also suggest watching some videos. Jay Cutler or the FST series is not a bad way to get some motivation.
You can also learn a great deal without spending a dime. Check out these forums, the videos on this site, and youtube.

Bodybuilding is a science when it comes to nutrition and training, here try the bill starr 5x5 intermidiate program after your finish with that p90x, this will give you a head start in muscle and strength gain:
