opinions about breakfast??
So ive pondered this theory in my head for a long time and too lazy to research it so i thought id ask the RX community. No matter what kind of diet (bulk, cut) would you agree that in the mornings it is better to eat something unhealthy than not eat anything at all?? If i didnt have access to whole or healthy food because i was camping for example; does it make sense to eat something unhealthy and start the metabolism rather than staying in a catabolic state? thanks in advance guys!

There really is no excuse for not eating breakfast, camping you can have oatmeal or eggs, there is always a McD's close by (Egg McMuffin) it is about being ready. Going out of town pre pack your food, but yes something is better then nothing once in a blue moon.
And about 90% of my clients say they don't eat breakfast and I tell them thats the first place we will start and we can start small an egg or oatmeal even greek yogurt but they have to start eating breakfast. (had one client say she has a snickers bar every morning and it was healthy cause it has nuts in it, told her the only nuts in that room was her and she needs to stop with the snickers, took me 2 months to get her to start eating oatmeal with almonds and chocolate protein powered mixed together)

If its a random thing then no biggie but I always bring what I need when I travel so there really is no excuse. It is best to eat something and to always make the best choice possible then to eat nothing. When you go camping you pack what you need. Right now though a smore sounds really good!

I kind of go camping quite a bit. I do alot of feild training exercises with the military. They give us MREs. They can have some good protein and carb sources in them once you weed through the junk. You can get them at just about any army surplus store. I also take alot of protein bars and meal replacement powders. Not as good as whole food but when you out like that they help.

Too answer your question, yea it would probably be better to eat some crap than nothing at all.
I would think that first thing in the morning would be the easiest time to get away with it.CutlerAthletics.com

always eat something. a bad breakfast once every 4 or 5 days won't hurt anything IMO.
As far as what do you eat? I eat eggs and grits ala big Ron Coleman... every morning if possible.

Nice. Count your blessings with your skin. I went from 325... who knows what bf... to 215 currently. Lower abs don't look as nice with leftover skin. But it is my war scar! A reminder to me of how it used to be and to others that I wasn't born with great genetics - hard work fuckers!!!
Amazing how many really overweight people don't eat anything until like 2-3 in the afternoon. I never suffered form that. I would dream about breakfast. Still do!

My breakfast 7 days a week:
breakfast steak (very lean 4oz steak)
5 eggs (5whites, 1 yoke)
2 pieces of wheat toast with all natural peanut butter on them
glass of skim milk (8oz)
multi vitamin
If you don't eat breakfast, how are you digesting your multi vitamin? Please don't tell us you aren't taking a daily multi vitamin.

well at least is better eating shit than nothing at all. I know people who eats nothing but shit but are still lean. Hell, look at michael phelps's diet, he only eats 3 squares but eats around 8000-10000 calories a day and their not all clean but he's an endurance athlete so he pretty much have to store to maintain his 200 pound frame and IMO, his diet could be a new thing for millitary basic training since is all endurance.
