blurry vision while on keto/low carb diet??
hey guys,
i have been on a ketogenic diet for 8 weeks and have lost lots of fat and am doing very well. i feel great, except for one thing, and that is that recently my vision has started to become blurry. Has anyone experienced this?? from my understanding, it is a result of low blood sugar, or being hypoglycemic. i feel great otherwise. my main concern is will this cause permanent eye damage if i stay this low in terms of my blood glucose levels? again, i feel great and am training 2 hours a day in the gym and my strength is up, but this blurry vision is starting to scare me, lol. thanks for everybodys help.

your body NEEDS carbs to function properly so yeah there will be negative side effects when you deplete your body of them.....i couldnt focus for anything my last 2wks, my emotions were messed up, mood swings, slight depression at times during the day etc, yep definitely not a natural thing to do.
