The jury found Hernandez not guilty of first-degree murder in the killings of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado. It convicted him of a single charge: unlawful possession of gun. The judge sentenced him to an additional four to five years in prison, separate from his existing life sentence, for that conviction.
So he's got to do life plus 4...that could take a while

The offer is for two years and is worth $6.4 million, including $4 million in the first year,

For a second straight season, there appears to be a strain between the Chargers' brass and talented defensive end Joey Bosa.
Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn confirmed to reporters here at Chargers Park on Tuesday that Bosa has been working with his personal trainer in Florida away from the facility the last two weeks, rather than attending voluntary workouts at Chargers Park.

New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler has signed his restricted free-agent tender, which opens the possibility that the team could trade him. Because a player can't be traded unless he is under contract, Butler's status was in limbo until he signed the $3.91 million tender.

The Oakland Raiders cut defensive tackle Dan Williams,

    Correct...
    Crazy...

Former pats TE Aaron Hernandez has committed suicide. He was discovered this morning at 305, hanging from a bed sheet in his cell. Life saving measures were tried but unsuccessful. Hernandez had attempted to block any entrance into his cell by jamming a chair and other items against the door.

    The Plot thickens:
Hernandez commits suicide but under the state of Mass law if you die during the appeal of a conviction, automatically the original conviction becomes null and void.
This means he never violated the New England Patriots contract thus his daughter is enables to $15 million. This is the $ the patriots promised to pay him weather he died a day after signing the contract.
