http://deadspin.com/ezekiel-elliotts...-cl-1784124894
A woman named Tiffany Thompson, who is known to be Dallas Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott’s girlfriend, just posted photos on her Instagram account showing bruises that she alleges are the result of domestic abuse.
Thompson does not specifically accuse Elliott of abusing her in the caption on the first set of photos, but directed the second set of photos at his Instagram handle.
Update (10:20 a.m.): TMZ is reporting that they have obtained a copy of a police report detailing Elliott’s alleged assault of Thompson. According to the report, Elliott allegedly attacked Thompson while she was sitting the driver’s seat of her parked car. The report states that Elliott was not arrested due to conflicting reports from witnesses, but that Thompson was referred to the prosecutor’s office.2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

Michael Bennett: If Seahawks don't appreciate value, 'get rid of me'
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/17...attle-seahawks
Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett has never tried to hide his discontent with his current contract situation. But he has always said he wants to continue his career in Seattle.
Bennett's comments in a recent Huffington Post interview, however, suggest his frustrations could be boiling over.
"It is never-ending," Bennett said. "Especially when people are getting new contracts every day. You sit there and you're like, 'Damn, really?' I'm just to the point where it's kind of like, if you don't think I'm valuable, then just get rid of me."2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

Drew Brees: No contract talks with Saints in last 3 months
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/17...-last-3-months
METAIRIE, La. -- Drew Brees won't have a new contract in place before the New Orleans Saints kick off training camp, unless something changes drastically in the next few days.
Even though other quarterbacks like Andrew Luck and Joe Flacco have gotten long-term extensions done this offseason, Brees said Saturday that he and the Saints haven't even resumed negotiations in the last three months.
"Not sure why things have not progressed," said Brees, who is heading into the final year of his contract. "They made an offer in March, we made an offer shortly thereafter. And besides the Josh Norman deal [when the Saints approached Brees about restructuring his contract to try to fit the star cornerback under their salary cap], there has been no talk about a contract since."

Darnell Dockett to announce retirement Monday
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/17...nce-retirement
TEMPE, Ariz. -- One of the most outspoken players in Arizona Cardinals history will hang it up Monday.
Defensive tackle Darnell Dockett is expected to retire Monday, sources told ESPN.
Dockett was cut by the Cardinals in February 2015, seven months after tearing his ACL during training camp in 2014. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers but was released before the regular season.
The 35-year-old Dockett will retire as one of the best pass-rushers in Cardinals history. His 40.5 sacks are seventh all time in the Cardinals' record book. He set a career high for sacks in a season with nine in 2007 and tied a Super Bowl record with three sacks in Super Bowl XLIII.2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/17...-crash-arizona
INGMAN, Ariz. -- Four people were killed Sunday when a bus carrying Dallas Cowboys staffers but no players collided with a van on a northwestern Arizona highway.
The fatalities were passengers in the van, Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Quentin Mehr said. But the bus occupants emerged uninjured.
"All on the bus came through OK with some bumps and bruises," Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said in an email.
Dalrymple said the bus was only carrying members of the franchise's staff but would not say how many. There were no players on board.
Among those on board the team bus were DallasCowboys.com columnist Mickey Spagnola, a team mascot and a team videographer.2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

Source: NFL to investigate Aldon Smith in wake of online video
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/17...e-online-video
The NFL will investigate whether Oakland Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith has violated the protocols required of a suspended player seeking reinstatement to the league following a violation of the substance abuse policy, a league source told ESPN's Ed Werder.
The league will conduct the investigation following the circulation of an online video that shows an unidentified man and woman talking about a hand-rolled cigarette.
The video is archived in a Periscope account that Smith has used on multiple occasions over the last two months.
Neither Smith nor the woman appear in the video, titled "Fire up session," although Smith appears in several other videos under the Periscope account "ravenga."
At one point in the video, the woman tells the man that he "shouldn't even be posting that" and that he is "hella stupid" as the man holds the lit cigarette.
The video cuts off immediately after the man says, "They don't know it's me. It's not like I put 'Aldon Smith.'"2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year
