If they think that Elliot can be a feature back, then I would draft him.

We all saw how well the Cowboys played when they had Demarco Murray, running behind that awesome offensive line.

You have to weigh how good you think a player is at his position. A good running back can have much more impact on his team, then a good defensive lineman.

A good running back can sometimes carry an entire offense.

I agree on the running back comment.on Murray the Cowboys made him an offer but Philly beat it by a lot.I don't even remember the numbers now but he couldn't turn it down.

I bet both the Cowboys and Murray regret it. The Eagles offense was a terrible fit for him, and the Cowboys suffered without the league's leading rusher from 2014.

Yeah I think Philly saw that as a double bonus to get the league rusher and to get him away from Dallas.Didn't workout well for anyone.On Romo's replacement yeah it's time.I doubt Tony ever makes it through all 16 games in a season again.Where does he come from though? Its such a crapshoot with these guys.Tony for all the criticism he's got through the years was an undrafted free agent.That's a lot of production for what it cost them.

I agree with you, Cook. Romo is a really good quarterback. That is why every acquisition is so important. I am a Patriots fan. Tom Brady was a sixth round pick.

When you really think about it, the first round picks are always the biggest gamble. All of the hype, money, and pressure. Some succeed, many fail to live up to expectations.

Yes but I will say this.The same defence that was bad last year was good two years ago when Demarco Murray ran for almost 1900 yards.Reason is they were not on the field nearly as much.Maybe this guy can bring back some of what they lost when Murray left.

I hope so.He was very good in college and looks like a pro.These guys are hard to predict what they will do at the next level.
