This was a great fucking event! Should be good for even the people that doesnt appriciate the ground game. Because we had alot of stand up wars.

Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald

Rory is a damn 20!! year old dude. and Looked Amazing! Good standing up, very good trips good everything, and has only trained in MMA no boxing now wrestling background. He dominated at first but got cought a bit and SADLY the red stopped it when he IMO shouldnt have. He was Very humble in defeat though (no african american behavior) and hes gonna be a force in the future.

Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel

2 big dudes, Gilbert is another pride prospect that didnt continue with his skill in the UFC for some reason *cough* steroids *cough*
Big ben came out swining rigght away and Im sure he gave it his all to try and stop him within the first round to please the crowd and dana. Sadly that didn't happen and both men ended up gassing HARD and the 2-3 rounds were pretty boring but Ben controlled the end and won pretty easily because yvel was almsot dead lol.

Paulo Thiago vs. Martin Kampmann

Kampman the danishman has Very good standup, Alot more techniqal then most MMA fighters. Gret setups and great punches which is still as mentioned in the even Underused in MMA.
Anyway, Martin pretty much dominated Both standing up and suprisingly on the ground against a BJJ black belt.
Cant wait to see martin again.

Mirko Filipović vs. Pat Barry

This was the fight that I really really looked forward to, Pat is just a compact killing machine and IMO
crocop used to be the most dangerous man in the word standing up in his pride days but hes ANother one of the guys that
cant keep the skill that they had in pride.
Anyway, Pat DOMINATED crocop in the first round knocking his ass to the ground Twice and just waited for him to stand up.
Then he broke 3 fingers then he threw a punch with his Right hand, the hand that kocked crocop on his ass Twice (we didnt know this)
Now that we know that I feel that is the reason why crocop edged out the win. He caught Pat in a submission in the last seconds of the second round.
IMO Mirko is not "back" pat was unable to use what would have won him the fight.
Amazing showing from Pat. Really looking forward to seeing him evolve also, can be a Big thread in the HW division in the future. I thought at first that he lacked killer instict Pat that is, but he was phased by the broken fingers imo.

And the main Event

Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin

Ive been saying for a long time that chuick is DONE he was at one point one of the best in the world and the best by far in the UFC but his time is OVER. He just loves fighting soo much so he cant let it go! Hes already rich so he doesn't keep at it for the money (aka ronald coleman)
And Franling broke his fucking arm lol. Thank "god" he broke the other arm not the strong punching arm. IN the after interview you could littarly see the bone sticking up from the skin a bit lol. And he kept on fighting for quite a while with it like that and even threw a few punched with it haha. One TOUGH dude.
Chuck just throws that right hand time after time after time again without ANY guard at all. No wonder he jusr gets Ko'ed time after time again.
Hopefully he retires now.

All in all a GREAT awesome card that was really needed for the UFC.

and SOON its UFC 115 with the one and only BROCK LESNAR. YEAH BABY!

ehh, you could see the bone sticking up a bit from under the skin in the interview right after the fight so I would say Pretty hurt..

and as rich said "I can feel the bone clicking"

crocop fight was great, I appreciated the sportsmanship and respect both fighters gave each other (not too sure about the hug midway thru the fight tho )

It just didn't seem like his arm was that hurt during the fight.
