    Default hGH and insomnia

Who's experienced it, what was your dose and your exact product (generic or Jin, Hyge, etc), and if insomnia did occur, was it transient and resolved w/o resorting to sleep aids? Also, did you find that time of day of dose was significant?

Never heard of insomnia from hGH.

If this is something you're experiencing, I would ask you - product, dosage, and any other supplements being taken? Also do you find that your mind won't settle down (e.g. you've got something on your mind or some stress in your life?) or is it something else?

not about me at all. I've read complaints of insomnia when people start hGH on multiple boards. Some have middle insomnia, some just apparent difficultly getting past REM sleep.

    Not everyone does.

One study I found showed a decrease in sleep quality among 149 subjects at 6 months on Humatrope. A quick Google will find you comments on other boards on sleep problems on GH.

Googling, I saw some discussion of various hGH OTC products that people were having some sleep issues w/ but they were apparently dosing it too high.

    wow this is interesting
cuz i remember when i first took it for about 4 months i was sleeping tons
    i was taking 1 I.U. a day
i'd sleep 10 - 14 hrs and coulda easily slept more if i'd have coulda
i asked my coach about it
he said that if you are sleeping you're growing just like a baby
then once i went thru that then i got more energy
but never have a problem sleepin unless i'm precontest
but my dosage of G stays the same

There is definitely a connection between hgh and sleep, though in opposite directions depending on a number of factors. I first began HGH with 2 ius and moved to 3 ius of pharma grade Humatrope Lilly and saw wonderful results. Good sleep, etc. within a couple of weeks. After a few weeks, I ran out and ordered Saizen by Merck and started getting insomnia and slight day-time anxiety at the same dose. So I quickly switched back to Humatrope and the insomnia persisted. My anabolic doses remained the same throughout the period (same test and equipose levels) so it's been driving me crazy since. All I could find on the issue was potential hyperthyrodism type effect triggered by HGH in high conversion of T4 to T3, above base line for months. https://academic.oup.com/jcem/articl...0/3493/2865448

This may suggest the feeling of great energy for some and reason for shedding fat. On the flip side, HGH is also known to 'suppress' or, in effect, cull out people with hypot/low hyroid issues - hence the lethargy experienced by many. I have not solved the issue and so far get told to lower my dose levels - but any assistance appreciated. Let me know if any of you who experience anxiety/sleep issues during hgh found a solve. Once again, I'm on pharma grade so it obviously rules out any questions around generics.
