She did the sport wonders by combining symmetry , muscularrity in a pretty massive and attractive way that made the judges more tolerant of exceptional development. I have to say though, that Collette Guimond and Marja Lehtonen exceeded her Kim's in development but the judges were not going to allow either of these woemn, to succeed her as Ms. O".

Thanks. I loved Betty's dedication to the sport and how her physique improved with size and age! The best she ever looked was in off -season shape at the Jr Nat's in '99! She dwarfed the light/mid class winner, who was pretty impressive herself. She would have dwarfed the heavyweight winner, Sherry Strother?

Thank you for recognizing Tina Lockwood. No one before created the stir that she did in the mid 90's. When she won the '94 Jan Tana, Ray Hollitt called for to be in the pro show by ('95). The NPC just didn't/doesn't get it.

These two were ectomorphs who were favored by the NPC/IFBB w/hopes to increase the market for the sport. Fans of women's bodybuilding look for and expect expect exceptional muscular development. So many women were naturally capable of devloping much more fullness with the same aesthetic quality and more.

Yes she did and was much more aesthetic than most will admit; great fullness, shape while hardcore.

Why the NPC did not expedite Tazzie to the IFBB back in the late 80's (hear early 20's) I'll never know! She could and should have been the heir apparent to Cory Everson; a 90's (dark complected) version with more size but all the attractiveness and more charisma.

SGlad to hear all of that; no surprise to this long time fan from her age group.

I must say - Debbie is definitely around the top of my list, too... you're included in what I consider to be the elite of female bodybuilders. I find a lot of women have difficulty keeping a physique relative to the natural aging of their body - You have developed/altered yourself in a way that allows your appearance to defy your actual age..
