The ideal FBB physique for me would be the CrossFit women who have the shapeliest development, especially in the lower body. The detail and conditioning required in FBB is not functional, and mass or fullness is too restricted, again, in especially in the lower obdy.

The very question of ideal female BB form represents a double standard. No one on this site is asking what the ideal male BB form is.

I'm not suggesting it's the wrong question to ask. Male competitors should have it asked of them as well.
Contests have loads of double standards. If a bikini competitor does a moon shot, she is graded up. If a male competitor does one, he's eliminated.Last edited by hifrommike65; 12-18-2017 at 03:49 PM.

CoG, I don't think it's just you. Standards of judging are so loose, changeable, & subjective, that at times it's hard to understand why someone got the placing they did. A friend of mine & I were at the NPC Teen Nationals in 2005. We saw the judging of a class & both thought a particular competitor would easily dominate the class. He was judged 2nd.

Agreed, weird. But a contest judge's work is not easy. In my time at contests, I've seen some amazing things. Such as a competitor who looked terrible in the prejudge & came back looking great in the finals, but who by then had already lost his placing. The weirdest was at the IFBB Masters Olympia in 2002. A competitor on stage was watery & didn't look good. As he stood there in the back lineups (while others were being called to step forward in groups), his body came into focus & looked great. Fifteen minutes later, he had gone back to watery. I had never seen anything like it, & never did again.
