If you are on those medications for a legitimate clinical reason would you stop them to prep for a show? doesnt seem like a reasonable thing to do.
Take your prescriptions as prescribed.
If anything be cautious of using other stimulants in conjunction with your medication (ie ephedra or excessive caffiene), as this combination would raise your heart rate in a detrimental fashion.

Although the decision is ultimately yours, i wouldnt consider stopping prescription meds for show prep...I know we all sacrifice things to get in better shape, especially contest prep.....but i dont think prescription meds are one of those things....
Although this isnt blood pressure medication or any time of medicine that withdrawl would put you in physiological harm, but you said yourself you have trouble with school and what not, coming off your meds would effect your studies and other cognitive areas, no? Just something to consider....All the best with your show prep.

As Dee said I wouldnt stop your meds. At best maybe speak to a Dr in holistic medicine to see if there is an alternatives. But really I wouldnt even think of it....my last show I was on antibiotics for my whole prep due to a skin disorder and it didnt affect anything. Not the same I know but just keep training, dieting and stay focused!

Although I'm not familiar with the ADD drug Concerta I don't think it will be a problem in the dosage the doctor prescribed.... in fact it may help curb your appetite while dieting. If you abuse it to get buzzed out of your brain it'll probably chew up some muscle though.
I'd be a little worried about the side effects of Concerta (Methylphenidylacetate hydrochloride) ...... sounds like scary stuff!!!
nervousness
difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep
dizziness
nausea
vomiting
loss of appetite
stomach pain
diarrhea
heartburn
dry mouth
headache
muscle tightness
uncontrollable movement of a part of the body
restlessness
numbness, burning, or tingling in the hands or feet
decreased sexual desire
painful menstruation
fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeat
chest pain
shortness of breath
excessive tiredness
slow or difficult speech
fainting
weakness or numbness of an arm or leg
seizures
changes in vision or blurred vision
agitation
believing things that are not true (LOL... like stuff you read on muscle forums!!!)
feeling unusually suspicious of others
hallucinating
seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist
motor tics or verbal tics
depression
abnormally excited mood
mood changes
fever
hives
rash
blistering or peeling skin
itching
difficulty breathing or swallowing

I'd talk to your doctor if he's cool enough. tell him what other things you plan on taking and see if it would be bad. if not id do hella research and ask as many "experts" round here. you DEF dont wanna be messin with your heart bra. but my honest opinion id say keep taking it and dont take additional stimulants for prep. REALLY focus on your food and training

I am on meds for ADD/Anxiety disorder and I take them during my whole prep. I just have to be careful how many stimulants I take at the same time or else I will never go to bed! I have done two contest preps on them! If you need anything PM me!

Im almost hesitant to post here but I wanna help you out. Im sure its not the healthiest option to run concerta or adderall with other stimulants but I know a lot of people who do it religously and have no problems at all. If concerat is anything like adderall itl give you more energy and focus and curb ur appetite. However, everyone has a limit as to how far they wanna push theyr health so that is the part that is your decision and knowone can really answer that portion of it for u. Best of luck
