    CLEAN AND PRESS!!

    Used to be a staple of all bodybuilder's workouts in the 70s/80s. The best test of upper body strength IMO, better than the bench.

    WORST idea yet.. one-rep max is the dumbest concept and has a 99.9% success rate of injuries.

    Next..

    Let's do weighted chin-ups close-grip.. easy to judge as person needs to go all the way down to full extension and all the way up to chin level. Weighted amount will me measured by bodyweight.. so say add 20% of bodyweight or something (just an example)

    from my thread, they may get merged.

    The next contest should take into account the bodyweight of the competitor. For example, the Deadlift Tazzie would have been spot on for the 185lb deadlift since she weighed 185, while the winner at 215lb would have to use 215 to deadlift for reps.

    For Men, it could be 2x bodyweight for as many reps as you can. Therefore Ben White (260) would have used 520 and the winner (240) would have used 480.


    Yes, this would entail a weigh in and changing some plates, but would make the contest much more fair and interesting.

    Hack squat, 4-5 plates per side, it only counts when yyou hear the pltform hitting the bottom
