key statement right here Spacey...with a fulltime career, newborn daughter and all the other stuff that comes at me each day, I need to cook for 2-4 days and be done.
I find that when I go outside of my typical list, I toss a lot of it and at this level of intake, its a lot of wasted cash...

....ya wonder why I practically LIVE on Chicken/Salmon salad, Oatmeal in the morning, etc, etc... It's cost. We have a family, and I just can't afford steak anymore. My wife picks up a roll of 5-6 of those 3 ounce cans of white chicken at Sams, and the Chick of the Sea makes those flat Salmon packs at the groc store...buck a pack. The roll of Chicken cans costs about 9 bucks, and I use one can per two meals.
We feed my girls pretty well, but I make up a bowl of chicken salad 3 times a week.
But I have stopped using powder protein except for pre and post workout, so that cut out a little cost.
I know it isn't the smartest, but it is what we can afford. Life never gives me perfection.... (PS you gotta rinse the chicken, and the salmon and get all the fermaldehyde off of it!)

Im very glad that spinach made the list. IT is my favorite cutting food. It really can
fill you up if you add some olive oil to top it off with. ITs a great veggie to eat and I
would recommend it to anyones diet. Great health benefits as well.

Depending on what I have left over the list is:
coconut oil
coffee
ff plain yogurt
chicken breast
eggs
broccoli
green pepper
brown rice
a steak or two
i also usually keep those bag o meals in the freezer with whole wheat bagels and some bread just in case
i also always have pb and oats around too, recently i've just been getting them from myoatmeal as they are better than the store brand i was using
