Betty White to LeBron: 'I'll Make it Worth Your While' to Stay in Cleveland

Is there anything Betty White can't do?

The basketball-loving fans of Cleveland hope the 88-year-old actress, who has been all over the place this year, from a hilarious candy bar commercial to a turn hosting Saturday Night Live, can help keep LeBron James in the fold.

It seems White and Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick, the other three stars from the new TV Land sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland," have taped a message designed to keep James from splitting town for some other NBA destination.

In the bit -- a script of which was obtained by the Akron Beacon-Journal -- Leeves and Malick claim not to know what sport James plays, with Leeves, who is British, wondering if the 6-foot-8 forward is a figure skater.

Finally, Bertinelli pleads, "LeBron, please stay," to which White, who played a naive senior citizen in "The Golden Girls" and a provocateur on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," says, "I'll make it worth your while."

Now, how in the world could he turn that offer down?

Pending on how the cap situation works out, it might be hard to win a championship with LBJ. He'll take all of the cap room. You can have him MM. I'd actually rather see Bosh and another free agent end up here in Chicago.

No but Cuban has turned that organization around. They make the playoffs every year. They got screwed in the championship against Miami. He is always good for a sound byte too.

Wade and Bosh here in the Chi may be a more feasible thing, although no one is talking about Boozer. To be honest, Bosh is waiting on what Lebron does I bet.

Coming to Chicago is pretty much anyones best chance of winning a championship, but I agree, Deng has to go.
