Aceto, what's your response to the following quote?
"Keep in mind that your skeletal muscles do not have brains. They have proprioceptors which indicate that the muscles are being pushed, pulled, stretched, and stressed but the muscles cannot tell if fifty pounds of resistance is being provided by a barbell, dumbbell, machine, or river boulder.""Younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles."

Sort of like when you are dreaming you are drowning versus really drowning. When you dream it it 100% real! But in real world u wake up and are alive.
Same to some extent hold true with the training ( as I think that's where you are headed with this) you can make 40 pound dumbells FEEL like they are 140's but they are not.
digest that and let me know

hey Chris how ya doin? it was recommended by an ifbb pro when I asked him how much protein should I get in per meal and he replied @ 32 grams per meal. only reason I asked was beacause I think my body was cannibalizing itself by not getting in a lot of good quality protein plus I was overtraining at the gym. now I am growing I weighed in 263lbs. today at 5'8 and a 1/4" I turn 40 in about two months and still am improving gaining muscle at my height if I can keep my bodyfat at @ 10% or less where it stays when I am in non competition form do you think it is possible for a bodybuilder to compete onstage at @300lbs., 8X Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman was closest to doing this @ about 298lbs.? basically what I am asking is do you think I can growi n my forties to a competition bodyweight of 300 lbs. onstage? ...I have been as high as 288lbs. 10% bodyfat? thanks, Mike

ah I just ate so much salmon I think I got Palumboism lol now I AM probably 300lbs. lol good Coleman, Cutler guys like that were so good during their competitive days I don't think it would be wise to criticize them it's just this sport has become very big look at some of the top pros today they are huge Phil , Mo Bannout, Justin Compton... it'sa mass monsters game I went from 215 to 288 in a couple years from heavy training, eating whole foods and using food supplements and now I am shying away from the heavy high volume training and focusing more on less volume still heavy, as lee haney said "stimulate don't annihilate" more making sure I am eating enuff and training when needed. Chris if you were implying that big ron ate more than food supps and kc masterpiece chicken and rice then that maybe true but there were other routes proper diet that could have yielded ronnie or any bodybuilder, for that matter, the same results I know... you're from missouri so I guess I gotta "show you?" lol take care, Mike

Chris,
Going off the previous question what is your opinion of Desiccated Liver tablets? I recently saw a video of Evan Centopani who took them and I also read Vince Gironda suggested them back in the day. Other than vitamin B are there other benefits to taking Liver tablets?
