Chris, I once read that people who have high calves are resistant to growth.( This is from Strength Training anatomy) Why is this and what could one do to overcome this issue?

WellI am a clean eating type of guy...but for sure you can take a junk meal a day ...I mean if you eat 6 times a day and for lunch have a whey shake and large slice of cheese pizza...youu are not doing any damage at all...........you're gonna get soft from "clean" calories anyways...

you can train them everyday. Why? Everyone I know with KILELR abs does them daily
I trained with serge Nubret in 1990 for a week. He did them every day for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes at the end of his workout he would do another 30 minutes. Its extreme, but his abs were insane!

Question on ecdy N7, kind of.
I know you have mentioned the plant sterols in it that help with nitrogen retention, which I am assuming is the Beta Ecdysterone.
My question for you is, my understanding of nitrogen retention basically means the aminos are in the blood stream longer. Assuming that is correct, does having aminos in the bloodstream automatically assure protein muscle synthesis if there are micro tears in the muscles for the aminos to fill in, OR, are there other factors beyond positive nitrogen balance that also impact the actaul muscle synthesis?

hey chris,
i have been doing 2 to 3 exercises/muscle group/1 all out intense set using all high intensity techniques ( rest pause and dropsets) .... all those 2 to 3 exercises are done from different angles....
now if i do only 1exercise/musclegroup/1all out intense set using all out intense set using high intensity techniques.....
but i have been thinking about the "all or none law" either muscle contracts or it does not we cannot isolate a part of the muscle and make it contract ......
i was wondering if i should go for the latter option to ENSURE recovery of the muscle in the quickest possible time.....after all muscle building is all about recovering from your work outs.....
please let me know what wud be a better option?
wud really appreciate
thank you

Although I've posted questions for months, I actually just re-read this entire thread.
It is hands down one of the most imformative threads ever.
Thanks for your contribution.
Also, I started off using GH Accelerator when it first came out, then stopped.
I could not believe the difference I have noticed by not taking it. I just ordered more....LOL!!!

Nitrogen retention is sort of an indirect litmus test for growth. No having aminos in the bloss stream guarantees nothing....you can still have aminos int he blood and fall into a negative growth state. Hormones obviously play a role, the immune stystem does too. Muscle sythesis is dependent on
1) Rest
2) Protein: you cant grow if you do not eat enough protein
3) energy balance ; you cant grow in a strong/severe negative calorie balance
4) You cant grow if your test levels are low
FYI Apparently there is a good article in FLEX about Muscle growth and betaecdysterone which is a main ingredient in ECDY N7

Hey chris, how soon before a workout do you recommend eating your preworkout meal?

Hey Chris, long time fan here. Your book, Championship BB'ing has been my guide for several months now. Awesome amount of information.
I am planning on doing my first NPC show next August. Would you favor a 20 week prep vs. a 16 week prep just to make sure I would have time to make adjustments if needed?
I've been using Kre-Oxy pump since it came out- GREAT stuff.
Would Nordrenalean be ok to use during a long prep? Or should I wait until I hit wall so to speak before adding it?

Chris,
Do you think GH Accelerator is good to use an entire off season? I've used all your products with great success while competing but not sure how to use the GH product now. Thanks!

Hi chris, what is your recommendation of GH and IGF dosing if used together?
Secondly, do you think taking your GH accelerator (or a similar type product) would be benefical to take at night as well if you are also taking synthetic gh?

Mr. Aceto,
When performing leg presses, which is the right way to optimally stimulate the quads? I always thought pressing through your heels was right as opposed to the balls of your feet, but then I hear people say that this will focus on hamstrings. Maybe I am micromanaging. This shit is supposed to be simple!
