Chris, you are a fan of Carbs, Dave is a fan of none. I have followed Daves Keto for over a year and went from 272 down to 210. Still have some extra Abd fat hanging around. What are your thoughts on TKD version, I feel good on keto, but was wondering what you thought of having limited carbs Pre and/or Post workout. Never going over100g combine if pre and post. Or 40-60g if only pre or post.

hey chris,
so i was running a ket diet similar to palumbos for the last 7 weeks or so. i usually use the methods in your books but i wanted to give this a go as i have some clients using it with great success.
i went into the hospital this week with a bleeding ulcer. needless to say i wont be doing the show i was planning on doing in 8 weeks on account of needing to let my stomach heel.
so my question is this.
1. how do i transition from the very low carbs i was on to now going back to eating them? im probably just going to go back on more of an off season eating plan. this is kind of a blessing in disguise as i didnt really think i made the gains i could have.
2. what are some changes i should make to my diet taking into account the ulcer?

Well I wrote a article on the benefits of a very low carb diet in 1994 or 1995 for Muscle and Fitness. They paid me a "kill fee" First time ever. Their science editor killed it. I called up my editor and went ballistic and they printed it only with the warning. I will paraphses "THis is a shitty diet so dont really believe it. It might work but its bad for you" I also have a low carb book that I wrote ten years ago for sedentary fat clients of mine. SO, the low carb diet...its cool with me and its obviously worked for you. That said, I still am biased for hardcore BB who train hard and are not fat to begin with.....I am biased to use a higher carb approach. That said, yes, try adding carbs in pre training. Probably will look better...and (I think) it looks like you will be giving KreOxipump a try, so those may be TWO variables that together might make you look denser

Sorry for all these little post, the edit time does not give you that much time if you step away from the computer and remember or think of something, lol.
What type of carbs do you think would be best: Oats, apple, banana, another fruit? Simple? Complex?

Chris,
In a pre-contest dieting mode do you recommend limiting lean red meat such as round cuts to a few times a week? Or in some cases do you recommend a small amount almost daily? Thanks!
