Fat and Protein are essentials, not carbs....

Best amount of weight to gain weekly off season for maximum muscle gains without to much fat?
Could the amount be increased if re-gaining lost weight and size if naturally supposed to be bigger and heavier by say 20-27lbs. (never had a break from training though)
Or is the rate of weekly weight gain recommended to be the same if gaining from something you never had to something you should naturally be and once had.

i read your 3 books last week that's why i can say that i think you are LOWER fat guy. When i tell low fat guy i say that you don't have direct source of fat (generally) in your prep.
thank you again for your HMR, amazing podcast (the only one that i listen to it and allows me to improve my english).
ps : i am living in miami too, where is your condo? seems to be between 95 and 100 collins, right?

Hi Chris,
I have been noticing when I have chicken and brown Rice 4 times a day (total protein 150g/day) my urine colour is yellow and has a lot of foam. But when i eat just carbs there is no foam in urine. Is this normal..? Or is it just chicken digestion produces too much urea which causes the kidneys to release urine containing foam..? Am worried and confused plz advice, thanks.
Also it would be great if your "Championship Bodybuilding" book is made available as kindle e-book on Amazon.com. Then many people including me can purchase it instantly. The hardbound book takes many, many weeks to be delivered. I stay outside of US.

Chris what is the ideal duration for a diet, if there is one. Would say 20 weeks be too much or do you just arrange it based on how out of shape you are at the start?

Best rate of weekly weight gains off season for a natural for maximum muscle with the least fat that is required? (Re-gaining back to a heavier bodyweight)
would it matter has fast or slow the weight gain comes back on, would I just carry around the same bodyfat as I used to when heavier when I reach the same heavier weight again?

Chris how long before a show date do you carb deplete and when do you add in carbs to peak an athlete.
