Chris, You just mentioned to a poster that if a specific area is not leaning down at the same rate to continue dieting since those areas are obviously stubborn and will require you to come further down in weight. My question is the following, is there a time when you've dieted for an extended period of time and are pretty lean most areas but have some stubborn areas like lower back/torso that just aren't really coming in. Would a break from low cals/cardio be wise for 4-6weeks or so and then continue pounding away?
I know you've advised taking a 2-3 day break at times but was curious if a longer break is sometimes needed to give the body/metaboslim a break and recharge for another sprint.

Yes if u are dieting and those pockets of fat are not comming off, I usually have people take a couple days or up to 5 off cardio and also go up in carbs a little for 4 days then back to the diet. This is the time too where I would hiot fat burners hard. U can try Nordrenalean...and I am sure there are other good fat burners there too but thats mine and the one I make and suggest

i Chris I am startin to cut fat down, i weigh 204 pounds, height 5'8 bf about 19%.. I was thinking of cycling carbs with 100 grams for 1 day, 50 grams for 2 days then 300 for one day, then repeat. Is this good or shit?? Also shud fat intake be high or low when cycling carbs. ( Or should fat intake be different each day depending on how many carbs i consume etc) I am aware of daves recommended keto diet, just wondering if it is also possible to cut while cycling carbs? P.S who will win the olympia, surely if evan centopani competed, and was at the top of his game he cud give the big guys a run for their money?? Your help is greatly appreciated

U can cycle your carbs that way...I like to start a diet though with the same carb intake so I can know if THAT particular carb intake is actually WORKING
Evan is sick. Just sick. Funny, I saw him at ny pro and thought he was sort of over hyped....I mean, he was good, but Well he was good enough for that show. I saw him at the Europa in ct and he was insane

ok Chris cool, what about fat intake then? High or low? will i loose muscle if both carb anf fats are low?

Hey Chris, I have a friend thats prepping for a show and is loosing 2lbs a week like clock work. He is 9 & 1/2 wks out. He is 236lbs & around 9 to 10% bf. He has people at the gym telling him he needs to loose 3 to 4lbs a week or he wont be ready. I think this is a bad idea and will make him look stringy, lose muscle & hold fat. Do you think loosing more than 2lbs a wk is ever a good idea?

Chris,
With my schedule I can only do cardio after training in the afternoon which starts at 3pm.I get up at 6:45am and I take 2 Nordrenalean with 2000mg of L-Carnitine.In the afternoon I take a serving of Kreoxipump at 2:45pm preworkout with BCAA.Now my main question is with taking L-Carnitine.Instead of taking it when I get up in the morning combined with Nordrenalean should I hold off until training with weights is done in the afternoon and take 2000mg immediately before I hop on the treadmill?Or would it be best to leave it stacked with the fat burner in the early morning?Thanks!
