    I just celebrated ten years cancer free..so I stopped cause of cancer. During that time, my immune system got really beat up. So, every time I have or had tried to go to the gym and say bench press 100 pounds ( dont laugh!) it felt like i got hit by a truck. I am trying once again to get back.......I would love to have even semi decent recovery...I would train all the time! I DREAM of training. A lot of times...maybe 4 times a year- I have dreams of working out and gettinga crazy pump.... so its still in my blood!

    And will I get a higher bodyfat from doing 3-4 whey protein shakes a day only. 200 grams protein a day with nothing else?

    Reason I am asking is because I have actually tried a diet which was only 3 protein shakes a day, and I gained weight and bodyfat. Why?
    In your case, probably the calories are too low so the body overcompensates and tries to hold water...not sure exactly

If you don't recommend partials like he's doing, how come so many of the pros train like that? Just trying to learn. thanks!

    hes prety much doing full range for the biceps. Hes not swinging the weight and he keeps the shoulders stable...which allows him here to work the biceps. So he brings the weight to where the bicep is fully contracted, and brings it back down to NOT fully extended so yes this is more or less a full range of motion, he just does not straightent he elbow out.

    I usuaklly go down to lower intesnity 45 min or 30 min a day...cause at this point the body is usually beat up..so dropping the intensity adds to your recovery

    Arms =18.5----------20.5
    Chest= 50-----------54 inches
    thighs = 26.5 --------28.5 inches
    Calves = 16----------18.5
    waist = 28 ------------same or not more than 29.5-30 inches

    ## all the left sided Stats are 3 years back in inches and my ht 5 feet 8 inches 197lbs @ 6%, so presently after my offseason i went upto 2 year clean eating and got stuck @ 235lbs @ 10%( 1 year back )presently i am 270 @ 20% BF, After 5 months of non training

    So I divided next 60 weeks into 3 phases
    a) 20 weeks Dave`s Keto diet to reach 5% Body Fat, (No fat burners to be used)
    b) Immediately add 100 grams Carbs/every 2 weeks untill i reach up 100-400grams{adding 100 grams each month} this point being crucial as i will be gaining almost 10-15kg= of lean body mass and not allowing to go beyond 8% -----------20 weeks
    c) Re-Start Pre-contest 20 weeks out to go from 8%--- 4% (Using Clen + T3 for last 8 weeks)
    Ex giving every (prioritizing training) CHEST trained every 5th day(twice weekly)x 24 weeks of priority training
    Priority arms) x 24 weeks priority training

    1.what is your muscle:waist ratio. WHAT IS AN IDEAL RATIO FOR A GUY 5 FFET 9 INCHES TALL (MESOMORPH) SMALL JOINTS, BROAD SHOULDERS AND
    2. DO YOU THINK A BODYBUILDER LIKE ME CAN GAIN UPTO THE ABOVE GIVEN RATIOS, i am asking you this as i want to jump up my weight division in 14 months Light heavy weight to 10kg = 22.5lbs

    would appreciate your input

    calcium magnesium is probably the nbest thing to use final week or so

    Well I sure wish you the best, I thought it was maybe related to your health situation. Wouldn't some nice anabolics help you out? A come back, and documented one here on RX would be so cool!

    I thinks it's inevitable that you get back into this one day... Just taking a week off makes me feel like I was hit by a truck, I can't imagine 10 years.

    Chris,

    Training question, Philosophically do you feel it is beneficial to do a lighter 12 rep + isolation excerise before heavy compound movements. Say dumbbell fly s before incline Bench Press?

    Chris, My arms are my weakest bodypart. When I do curls I feel it in my forearms, and especially inside my elbows. I never get a good pump in the Bi, but I do in the forearms.
    When I do pullups or chin ups I also feel it in my forearms and elbows rather than Bis. I do feel in my back too, but I'm still talking arms here.
    My tri's aren't bad but they need work too. I use to do the Chest, Tris. Back, Bis. Legs. Shoulders. WOrk out. Recently I started working arms by themselves.
    Any hints? Maybe try to correct my form? Can you explain?
    I love your books by the way.
