Aesthetics aren't important in bodybuilding?

By that reasoning maybe the 202 division should be eliminated and all those guys encouraged to gain 50-75lbs of muscle.

I'm fine with him doing whatever he wants to do with and to his body the same as the mass monster female bodybuilders of old, but hate the idea that we encourage the smaller competitors to do this to themselves.

Sorry. My point wasn't that the most aesthetically pleasing always wins, but that it is disappointing when these guys like Hide who have been steer away from it in pursuit of bulky mass. Dexter has put on size, but it appears more gradual and proportioned. And I've never seen him a week or three months out from a contest look like that not to mention the hernia.
I don't see where you get any points from judges or fans on stage for an obvious hernia.

i could very well be wrong but when you take diuretics that many times in one year isn't that very bad for your kidneys? dave/john said the same thing...

IMO the pre contest diuretics are worst than any steroid that he is putting into his body.

And not only are they harmful, but 99% of the time, they end up making u look worst than u did before u took em.
