Hey Cook: Last night I heard that Nolan Ryan's group is suing the Rangers
for breach of contract. Please tell me that they aren't going to sell the
team to Cuban.
INMHO, Cuban is so overrated. He goes to Germany to beg Nowitzki to
re-sign with the Mavs. Nowitzki is as soft as jello. BTW Cuban, nice de-
cision to let Nash go.

Please explain to me how Dirk is soft as Jello? The people who say that are going off the fact that hes not an "in your face" type of guy or going to yell and scream at his teammates. Thats not in ANY way being SOFT. Dirk is one of the TOUGHEST players in the NBA. He plays through injury, he is willing to bang with anyone and he sticks up for his teammates. If Dirk is soft, then so is Mello and Wade. They are all three soft.
None of those guys are soft though and there isnt one person in the media who covers the mavs or actually watches their games game in and out that says Dirk is soft. Noone.

As far as cuban being overrated, why has player after player who has ever played for the Mavs or that knows Mark, has said hes the best owner in sports period? Even the guys who have played several other places. Even Shaq has come out and said hes one of the best owners in pro sports or that hes been around and hasnt even played for him. There isnt ONE player in the league who wouldnt want to play for Cuban. You wont find one. He treats his players great and players familys great. He is involved in the team, watching from the stands with the fans, running up MASSIVE 50,000 plus tabs a game paying for fans food and drink but at the same time, lets the coaches coach and the GMs do their work and dosent overule all their decisions. He turned the Mavs into the most consistant team in the last 10+ years in the NBA. Thats a fact. One of the best owners in sports.

The idea is to win titles and Cuban doesn't get it done, nor does Dirk. The
Mavs were guilty of 2 of the biggest chokes ever. One, losing to the Heat
with a huge lead. Two, when seeded #1, they lose to 8th seeded Golden
State that was basically fielding a short guys squad.
All what Cuban cares about is having the spotlight shine on him and all
Dirk cares about are his stats. BTW Cuban, nice trade sending Nash to
Phoenix.
