Awesome. Keep at it & you will get there.
For me it was my goal only to DO the show and maybe get luck & do ok. My first time doing it I just wanted to make it to the night show & get to pose (top 5)... Now my goal is to never have to do it again, haha.

Jeff, you've been fairly critical in the development of my physique since I first started training (2009). Here is a progress shot.

Hey Jeff,
What happened to your Rx Muscle training vids? The pages come up, but the videos do not anymore.

Hello Jeff,...Does fruit fit into diet for fiber/carbs? I do not see it mentioned in your or others diets??? What impresses me is at competition time you show no fat and good form.

I eat SO much broccoli and green beans when I'm dieting that I have no issues with getting enough fiber. To give you an example, I'm currently eating just over 2 pounds of broccoli or green beans (weighed frozen) during this current diet.
I've never eaten fruit on my diet, but if I wanted to I could do it and achieve the same result.

Thanks explaining even the quantity. I can see options and even be more motivated.

YES!
Nothing I have done has seriously helped except allowing it to heal. As simple and lame (lame because there's no trick i know of) as that sounds, thats been my experience. First of all, the best way is to just NOT hurt it. Second, the next best thing is to address it as soon as you start to feel it. By the time you're at where I htink you are, you've pushed it way too far.
This might mean you having to NOT do certain exercises (incline presses, overhead presses, not using barbells for presses) or you re-learning how to press or whatever it is that bothered it in a different way (maybe tuck elbows in more, for example).
I've tried taking TONS of glucosamine, msm, chondroitin, etc. and doing this for YEARS, nothing, not even close, has helped in avoiding these injuries by being very mindful about not letting things get bad.
Imagine you have a small thread sticking out of your shirt. You wanna sew that thing back up while its still just a thread, address it before it becomes a huge rip.
Trial and error, and time/practice will help you learn how to deal with this.
Sorry I don't have anything groundbreaking to share on this issue. Maybe the only thing is, I've completely stopped doing overhead presses and I hardly ever use the barbell for presses. Shoulder training is all side raises for me.

Jeff I went to the NPC contra costa show on Saturday. I did not expect to see you and was totally surprised. You looked amazing. Big gains, very full, and great overall conditioning. I can't find the results, did you win??

I won the light heavyweight class. The show is less than 20 minutes from my house. I decided to do two shows along the dieting process (without changing anything) on my way to Team Universe to try to find the point where I've struck a good balance between being lean enough, yet still maintaining a good amount of size and fullness. In the past I think I've crossed the line and erred towards 100%, all out conditioning, but I might I have a better shot this year at TU if I come in a bit bigger.
Now its time for the home stretch till TU... 8.5 weeks to go.
