Eating too much or too little - Trying to find that balance
While trying to build muscle while simultaneously losing body fat, it can be difficult to find that "right balance" and not eat too much or too little. Right now I'm in that "experiment and monitor" phase yet haven't found that right balance quite yet.. I'm not really interested in cycling because there seems to be such a huge "yo-yo" affect with me... How did you find your balance?

It all depends on how much body fat that you need to loose and how lean you are at the moment. I typically use this rule of thumb with carbs:
Low- .5 gram per lb
Moderate- 1-1.5 g per lb
High- 2g per lb ..
If I am trying to burn fat while preserving muscle mass then I would incorporate 2 low days with one high day and the rest moderate.
If I am simply maintaining, then I would stick with moderate carb days; on my off day use a low day. You should be able to find a rythm within your body using that rule of thumb.
