Post Comp Training/ Bulking
In the last year I set out on the journey to compete and completely transformed my body and lose close to 125 lbs but I stepped on stage at a local show and did average in my novice and open classes. I have learned a lot about my body, training, and the bodybuilding community. The feeling of being on stage at the 2013 Colorado GNC Natural was a rush and plan to compete again in a year. Took 7th in novice and 11th in open in the figure classes.
My plan to take the year and let my body adjust which the last four weeks I have normalized. Right now I am still doing lifting about 5 days a week following John Meadows Reactive Pump Program. Cardio I try to do fasting every morning and then follow lifting with 35 minutes or more cardio in the evening. Troy wrote out my diet with some of the foods that are on his prep for his third show to make cooking easier. On training days I get cheat meals if I choose and have found it hard to get back to a normal diet. Training I have only taken a few days off and lightened my cardio.
Would love feedback on how other's train or reverse diet after show. Looking to promote myself on RXMuscle.com and also share my experience competing at the local level. Thank you for reading and God Bless!
