How well do you chew your almonds?
This is a study that found differences in insulin response, GLP-1, satiety response, fullness factors and bioavailability of the fatty acids contained in almonds based how well they were chewed by subjects.

I've wondered about this. It seems like much of the contents of nuts would be unobtainable without thorough chewing.
