I've had a similar experience on a leg day, although mine involved the squat rack and dog shit that was caked on a 45. Slid that guy on the bar and got a funny smell. Sure enough, I look down at my hand to find a nice load of shit just chillin on my fingers. I was pretty horrified and didn't get nearly the service you got. The guy at the counter just told me where a sanitizing station was and had someone remove the plate. I presume someone had some dog shit on their shoes and used the edge of the 45 to scrap it off. Either way, it was an awful experience. I can only imagine what it's like to prod around in another human's shit...I feel for ya buddy!

I keep asking myself the same question. It was all the way at the bottom of the seat. I guess it was just one of those cases where its the last thing you'd expect to see so your brain kind of overlooks it. To be sure I am always on the lookout now! That shit will never happen again.
