Steroids case pharmacist gets 4 years in prison and names some of his clients
http://blog.al.com/live/2010/08/phar...ala_stero.html
According to court records, Applied Pharmacy Services shipped 762,388 dosages to 17 doctors and clinics from April 4, 2004, until Aug. 30, 2006. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Mobile contends that does not include many other doctors and clinics that they say participated in the conspiracy.
Those performance-enhancing drugs ended up in the hands of users ranging from professional athletes to teenagers looking to build body mass. Prosecutors cited 22 professional athletes who obtained steroids from Applied Pharmacy Services during the time Bennett worked there.
In court today, Dobbins named seven whose orders included Bennett's signature or initials:
* Shane Carwin, a former NCAA Division II wrestling champion who went on to become an Ultimate Fighting heavyweight champion.
* Kurt Angle, a former Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler and professional wrestler.
* Bob Howard, a pro wrestler from Mobile who performed under the name "Hardcore" Bob Holly.
* Tony Freeman, a professional bodybuilder nicknamed "The X-Man."
* Quincy Taylor, a professional bodybuilder.
* Dennis Newman, a professional bodybuilder.
* Troy Zuccolotto, a professional bodybuilder.
Court documents reference 6 other professional bodybuilders, 7 professional wrestlers and 2 professional baseball players by their initials only.

I really think it is getting ridiculous there in US. Why spend money to bust doctors and pharmicists, when they could be using that money to go after herion and other real drug cartels. Or even better is using that money to start programs to help the US economy. All it shows is that they are going after easy busts to hide the fact they can't do dick about the real crimes and drug trade going on there.

Simply not true. At least not as of right now. There are FAR FAR less players in the NFL, and MLB using steroids than there were just 3 years ago. In fact, it would shock me if more than 10-12 percent in MLB are using now do to the new testing procedures and penalites. Same with the NFL. You can tell it in the players bodies and performance. Players in the NFL overall are MUCH smaller than they were 3 years ago. Its very noticable. In UFC they do have pretty hard core test procedures and considering they as well as MLB and NFL test for all the masking agents currently able to shoot a negative test, there arent as many guys in that jucing either. Its still there, but steroids in sports, outside of HGH, are down significantly.
