Blood Work Check List
Here's what to check:
The basic Age Management/Hormone work-up that is done for men and women is:
Testosterone (Free & Total)
Estradiol
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT)
IGF-1 (indirect measurement of HGH)
IGBP-3 (indirect measurement of HGH)
CBC
Lipid Profile
T3,T4,TSH
Blood Chemistires (fasting for 12 hours)- this includes glucose, electrolytes, liver function tests and renal function tests. (Chemistries can be done separately pre-contest to see how you stand a week or less out)
If you happen to be taking testosterone, get tested the AM of your dose, BEFORE you take your testosterone.
Some of these tests, like the IGF-1 an IGBP-3 are probably send out labs and not done locally. Especially if you are getting these two tested, try not to get blood drawn on a Friday. It will sit at lab all weekend and will not give as accurate results as when it is shipped and received on a more timely basis.
Please PM me for any questions about what to order. If you get tested on your own, you can post the results on this thread or PM me with results for interpretation.

How Often to Check Blood Work
If you're on DIY hormone replacement, at least get your blood work checked every 3-6 months. I check my patients' blood work quarterly.
