Does anyone here use Twitter?
Does anyone here use Twitter? Should I start a Twitter account to make announcements about my documentary projects or is it a waste of time?

I would never advocate for ego stroking and self masturbation at the same time. Thus,...no twitter. However, in your case it would be a good move to keep publicity up. For you it is no different than visiting the boards....just business. Keep it strictly business and your good, just try to not let it drift into post about you going out to get a #3 at BK to satisfy the munchies.

Not really about geography. Most people around the world tweet now. A lot of young high school, college and young professionals tweet too. This just caught on last year but my ex-gf has been tweeting since 2006. This would be good for Mike from a business perspective with regards to updates. I personally see no use for it. Just a bunch of one liners and I talk more than that. It is hilarious and boring at the same time to read excerpts like this; Waking up. Going to the Bathroom. Having sandwich. Saw a Movie last night.,etc. I mean who really cares? Don't use Facebook, Myspace, Friendster, Hi5 or any of those things either. I'm fine with messageboards."Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" -Dr. David Banner

Hi Mike
I have just started mine for my company Flexr6 Fitness Solutions.
This link will take you straight there http://twitter.com/flexr6
I intend to use it more often when my website is officially launched.
Am thoroughly enjoying Overkill Pt 1 - I'm 4 weeks out from competing and have watched it every morning on my treadmill for the last 4 weeks - can't wait for Pt 2 & 3 to come out. Has been the inspiration to get me into the best shape I have ever been for a comp.
Thanks

I do but, I mainly use it as a way to get notifications on travel and entertainment. It is a great money saving tool without getting spam in your email.

Any business owner who doesn't use Twitter isn't maximizing their marketing potential. Being obstinate is not a good business strategy.
For personal use, it's a different story. As mentioned above, the world needs fewer notifications of Leroy taking a dump or Joanie chipping a nail.
