I have been to this show 3 years in a row, always a great show from both a spectator and competitors point of view.

Can you tell us more - I am 53 and just starting as an NGA competitor - is this a good show to try for a pro card at?

Honestly you would need to be a lock thicker in the back and improve your conditioning in your lower half. The show always brings some good competition. I was fortunate enough last year to win, the year before Jeff Marlett was the overall champion and he looked awesome.

It also just occured to me that you could win a Pro Card in the Master's class, but that class was stacked as well.

Wow Thank you - you look great there - striated glutes, thickness - Attached is a pick of me tanned and carbed up from 2 months ago - but I think I still need to go off season and add some size/thickness - appreciate the help

BTW - I am doing a mock peak week this week - the NGA show in Georgia was to be Sept 25 and just got cancelled - so I still want to test out my carb up - and maybe have a photo shoot. The last two months have been 2 hrs of cardio a day to try and lean out glutes - now the trick is to go off season without getting too fat lol

Looking good there...good luck with the off season. That stinks your show got cancelled. There are a few other NGA shows around the south this time of year you could look into though...and Nov is pretty close since your already so lean!

Thanks - and yes I saw some other shows but am just now running a final week prep - 14 meals a day for 2 days to carb up and drop water - then a photo shoot tomorrow, and I am going the Disney World - (wife's orders lol) otherwise there was one Oct 2nd in Alabama. This show was actually two months attempting to get striated glutes after doing the Masters Nationals in July (NPC show).
