Wigs on stage

Why?

Are the sides from the AAS that bad that women lose their hair and have to wear wigs? Everytime I see a wig on stage I know it's a wig immediately. I have never seen one that looks good.

Yes, the sides are so bad for some that they wear wigs.
Alternatively, some may want to achieve a different look (color, length) that they're not able to get with their natural hair.

Like anything, it depends on what you spend. Plenty of celebrities wear them (Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian) and they all look fantastic.

Great wigs are out there. You just have to do some research and be willing to invest.

if it's a 'good wig' then you would think it's her real hair, therefore you wouldn't know your looking at a wig.

Plenty of figure wear wigs not cuz of AAS but to get longer fuller hair if they don't have it

I hate people that have good hair!!! lol

IMO if you're gonna wear a wig it should be of the highest quality so it looks real, and that applies to gals with implants as well if you're gonna invest in 'em spend the money and get it done right 'cause nothing looks worse than a poor set of implants or a cheap wig.

It's like guys with arms or other bodyparts that are so full of synthol that they look like bags of oil IE kinda squishy and soft. So be smart with "after market parts" as they can look really bad if done wrong or cheaply.

Exactly. I'm not against wigs or extensions. But if you're going to do it spend the money and get a good one so no one can tell.
