    you know the usual,,, sirloin, fillet mignon, etc... if you really want to go the extra mile, get grass fed meat.... I also love Bison meat.

    It is hard to find, at least around here, but get some Orange Roughy. By far the best. It's very meaty and not fishy tasting at all.

    Swai (sometimes called Basa) is a great alternative to tilapia, if you can find it. I agree, if you don't like tilapia, don't eat it. THere's tons of other fish out there....flounder, haddock, orange roughy, cod, etc. Salmon and catfish are oilier. Not sure what kind of oil is in catfish. Or if you don't like fish just eat more chicken!

    ive been using flounder for the past few months but im getting sick of it now, i try to eat it all in just a few bites.
    I cant do the talapia at all
    what ever happened to good ol' chicken for contest prep? is there anything behind why people switch to fish?

    That's what I'm talking about...the 5 oz. cans are very cheap and if you rinse with water you eliminate some of the sodium and you can season it with anything......plus it's great mixed with oats.........I look forward to my tuna and oats patty.....

    I thought that as soon as Jay won the Mr O, everyone started eating more fish. Just something I noticed. I had more clients asking me about it, etc. Jay has always eaten a ton of fish.

    Also, I remember a figure pro telling me that tilapia had "enzymes" that burned fat, LOL. Okay, whatever.

    I 'd be up for giving up fish all together (i have scallops like twice a week and it really does get pricey).... but all I keep hearing is that I'm missing out on some significant amino acids if I only stick to chicken and steak.

    and that getting lean on steak is damn near impossible.

    Catfish is higher in fats and calories I think. I also only like it if it's fried, or batter dipped and fried.

    I put frozen talapia in a pan lined with aluminum foil, drizzel EVOO on it then spinkle each piece with canjun seasoning. Throw in the oven @400 for an hour and a half. done. take it for lunch with a couple tablespoons of long grain wild rice.
