Protein infused vodka, would you drink?
"If you have ever thought to yourself, "Man, I want to drink whatever vodka The Situation drinks. And I wish it had protein in it too. But nah, that will never happen" -- boy, do we have a surprise for you!
Sources tell TMZ the "Jersey Shore" money machine scored a $400,000 signing bonus to be the spokesman for a vodka company called Devotion.
But this ain't no ordinary booze -- Devotion contains a clear protein called Casein ... which can support an increase in lean body mass and a decrease in body fat if the user is also on some sort of weight training program.
We're told The Sitch's brother, Marc Sorrentino, brokered the deal through the company they run together, MPS Entertainment"
Got this from www.tmz.com the question would you drink it?
And did they choose casein instead of other types of protein?

So you get the protein, but also get alcohol that can suppress test levels, what's the point of this drink again?

Sad thing is this will probably sell. What they arent telling you is alcohol reduces protein synthesis - so all that casein is pointless (and maybe even detrimental?)
You'd be far better off adding something like Acetyl-L-Carnitine to a vodka because that enhances mobilization of fat cells - although your body wouldnt do both (breakdown the alcohol and fat at the same time)
Ah well if you've got the money to waste on ridiculous things then..

I've drank (drunk) at least 20 times the past 4 months, other than fat gain I don't see any side effects.

true statment. but even if that weren't true..how much protein r u gonna get in a single shot? it'd have to be like pudding to make anything over like 10g but then again i guess if u take 8 or 10 of them it starts adding up..either way..good idea but the makers either don't know anything about alcohol's effect on the body or they don't care cuz they know there are enough retards out there that'll buy it and thing they're gettin swoll while fist pumpin in the club

Thing is, would you even be physically able to drink enough to matter? That protein infused beer that was being talked about a while ago makes a little more sense.
