My 2010 Nationals Prep Sponsored By Scivation and Primaforce
Ive had quite a few requests that I start a journal for the second part of this prep, I started 12 weeks out. So here it is.
Im about 5.5 weeks out, the pics ill post were from 6 weeks out Im about 162 in them, and maybe about 2-3 lbs of fat to lose. So I have plenty of time to dial this in.
I started off with the my own version of the Diet Solution by Scivation. And transitioned it into a full blown ketogenic diet at about 8 weeks out.
I am now fat cycling. I have diets with 265 protein and no direct starches, and fats of 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 I grab the diet based on my fat loss goal, how depleted I look, and how my strength is holding up.
I have a cheat meal on friday or saturday and usually I end up refueling about 300 carbs in the middle of the week, based on how I look and feel.
The whole prep is based on day to day look and feel, there are no rules with this one, and Im just going by feel.
Cardio isnt even to schedule, its varies from 2 hrs the next day after a refeed on a 30 grams fat day, to no cardio once I hit my 1 lb drop for the week on 70 grams fat day. I use that diet to maintain once I meet my fat loss goal for the week.
Im making use of Scivation Solution 5, Knockout, Essential FA, and Dialene 4x, Im using creaform, glutaform, Lean Green, Insopro-R (r-ala) and Alcalean all from Primaforce. I'm very grateful for the support and Im trying to take my conditioning to another level and represent them well.

tonight marked 3 days on very low carbs and very low fats, I was at a new nightly low by 2 lbs, so I doubled my midweek carb intake and did 600 carbs all within 1.5 hrs, once i was full though I put them back. Did not eat to sickness, just fullness. Now its back to low fat low cal tomorrow for a few days. I suspect Ill see a new low by Friday morning, thats been the pattern.
Thanks for the comments MM and JRob.

Great job keep it up.
For a natural (If you really are) you really look like you're not natural. Take it how you will but thats a compliment. Very good quality muscle.

maybe it has something to do with the mini rebound you had after juniors but your sporting a look that is tighter and fuller than anything ive seen on you yet. You look like you could be competitive on stage like tomorrow! I dont even know how freaky your gonna look come showtime.

carb load was timed perfect, I ate until full, not overeating, I woke up down another .2 lbs, not a new low, but the carbs prevente a new low to soon in the week. Need it by friday. This one was 600 carbs in about 1.5 hrs.
Thanks fellas Im pushing very hard for this. Id like to try to crack the top 5 in the lightweights, then build on that for the years to come. i know that will be a monumental task with the likes of many very good guys returning, like Pacheco and Bautista, there are two top spots right there....but, just gonna bring my best.

I used the Diet Solution for 4 weeks, but it was higher cal than they recommend, they have 5 meals at 42 pro and 16 fats for a guy my size. I did 42 pro and 18 fats 7 x per day, plus the oats timed morning on off days and pre workout on training days whereas they want them post workout.
I could have manipulated it the whole way but I wanted to get into ketosis as my cals fell.
At 12 weeks out I was 167.www.scoobyprep.com
