TV
don't like the ipod approach because the music gets too repetitive / old after a while then you have to fiddle with it while moving around quickly.
usually I'm on an elliptical with Mike and Mike in the morning on.
during commercial breaks I usually flip to one of the three local news channels.
and a fan.

yeah, im that guy thats shredded when I compete at bb shows
most of my cardio is done either
A. on a STEPMILL.. with good intesity.. setting around 7-8
or
B. on incline Treadmill, with a elevation of 10 and speed of 3-3.5
if I tried to play madden on my phone I would bust my ass.. lol and talking to the person next to me just would get me more winded..

Music - but everyone does.
Primed Ultra. Nothing helps me better than that. I take four about 15-20 minutes before my cardio session (excellent for prep) my legs never get tired on the step and I can go at a little faster pace. of course, nothing will help when you are depleted as hell - but it definitely lessens the blow.

btw, I didnt mean to come off as a dick, im very sarcastic and that isnt translated to well online..
Personally, I just cant get way with doing cardio at low intensity.. I could never get lean enough that way, so that makes it kinda hard to do anything but listen to my ipod!
