Esplendido 4 weeks out
Well, as some of you know, I decided to compete in October, even after tearing the quad tendons loose from both knees in May. The show is the Red River Bbing Classic in Norman, OK on Oct. 9th. I'll be in the 50-0ver and for grins, the Open SHW. If there was a "Your legs suck" class, I'd be in it, too.
Here are a couple of pics taken this a.m.

Back is shred city Rick; where do you seem to lose last?
I assume you're about 250# in these pics; you still thinking 245#?
Wonder if you'd mind sharing your macro numbers or however you do the diet?

I'm 250 naked this a.m. Weight fluctuates between 255-248 day to day this last week. I hope to be 245 on stage, although the right carb-up could take me to 250+
I have carb cycled the whole way. 3 no carb days, then 150, 200, 250, 600. I keep my protein at 400g/day and fats at 150g/day. I will go full keto 14 days out and start carb loading 4 days out.

Ya look great and I hear ya on the leg thing as I tore my right quad off the common tendon (yes all four muscles), so I'm very impressed that you are competing this quickly!

I don't mean to be a dick here, but you stated that "we do this to win, not to show up" or something to that effect. If you are walking on pogo sticks, do you expect to win? Is this to prove that you can get the upper body up after the accident? Just wondering what your thinking is if you are going into a show subpar? Is it that YOU LOVE TO COMPETE NO MATTER WHAT? YOU LOVE THE PROCESS OF IT ALL? I understand bro, so do others here, you just gotta do it, right?
