Gerrit Cole has arrived. Some call him the best pitcher in MLB. I don't know about that, but he's good. & thank goodness he was rescued from the Bucs, a team that quibbled about giving him a $10K bonus (that he qualified for) on top of a low salary they refused to renegotiate. You get what you pay for, & fortunately he is no longer kidnapped by K-Mart; he's on a team that pays its athletes well, trains them well, coaches them well, & bases strategy on reliable analytics. Cole was an artist in the 5th game, painting the corners like a baseball Da Vinci. It was a joy to watch (for everyone but Nats fans).
