Hey guys, just wanted to give an update.
After that liver biopsy I had, which turned out negative, the specialist sent me to another specialist in January 2012. She couldn't find out what was wrong either, but she wanted me to obstain from fish oil and glucosamine for 3 months and have new bloodwork done again.
Over time, I forgot about it and never went back. I did think about it though when I went for my physical yesterday. I had my bloodwork drawn back in January.
The results were positive:
AST: 38 (down from 46 in 2012), normal is <40
ALT: 63 (down from 72 in 2012), normal is < 41
I did stop taking omega 3 fish oil and glucosamine for some time, but i've been back on it regularly. Otherwise, I still eat a keto/paleo style diet, and I still train HIT style twice per week).
I don't know what the problem could have been, or how they got elevated to those 2010 levels, but I'm grateful I'm out of danger. My PCP found no reason to get any additional bloodwork done.

Consider getting re-tested in 6 months to see if levels are still at healthy levels.
