That would be Brian Thompson. Dave has similar features.

Its the strong cheekbones and thick muscles around the mouth, and thick brow that that makes them look similar. Brian is athletic but not a bodybuilder however.

He is a very good character actor too.

Brian was the first guy to be killed by Arnold in The Terminator.

There should make a Dr.Geckle movie. Cast Brian as Doctor Geckle, and Dave as Mr.HYde. even though Dave IS a real life Dr.Geckle...

I would like to know how dave spaced these meals apart and how exactly he digested all of that. Probiotics or digestive enzymes maybe? That is a TON of MRP's. I always thought food was better?

Love to hear Dave's comments on this.....and wonder why he wouldn't have Evan try something like this when he was training him, since Evan would have obviously done it

The funny thing was, JAY CUTLER was asked in the late 90s what he thought about the few 300+lb bodybuilders that were out there (I'm sure DORIAN and I were who they were talking about) and he replied that he didn't think there was any reason why a bodybuilder should have to get that big. It didn't interest him, he claimed. I guess he said that because he wasn't able to achieve that size at that point in his career (he's 7 years younger than me). Nowadays, he walks around 300+lbs all year round. I guess he changed his mind.

Dave was a super freak back in 1998, and had a contest weight 30 pounds over Ronnie Coleman that year, and did not look to be holding a ounce more of fat or water either.

Swede, you may not like Dave's structure, but at that time he was 281 pounds on stage, at only 5'11" and was the most shredded guy up there.

These days I think they are just not going as heavy, because the judges are no longer rewarding that look in a lot of shows.

I got no idea who is really healthier. I'm not a Doctor, so I will not take any guesses as to what the health is like at that weight. Not my place, and only Dave knows what his BP was then.

That looks like so much upkeep.....So much food and supplements day in and day out....but that is the nature of the beast. Only for the strong minded and is willing to go to extremes. Even though Im sure Dave used synthol or escilene back then, he still had a "paperthin" and dry look to him. Very cool.
