Swelling and Pain after injection
A friend of mine injected 200 mg test c (1ml) and 50 mg winstrol (1ml) into his thigh. He has moderate pain (mostly achiness) and some swelling at the injection area. It the first time he has used injectable winny, and taken a 2 cc injection. There is no redness, and the pain is basically just an achiness similar to when he has injected test c into his thigh.
He wants to know how long does the swelling and achiness last? He has had achiness in the past from the test c shot, but no swelling and the pain typically goes away after about 4-5 days.
Is this a typical reaction to first time winstrol users? How long before the swelling goes down and is there anything he can do to speed up recovery?
He thanks everyone for the help and advice

Winny hurts like a bitch for me. Couple days.
2ml shots hurt for some particularly if you have tiny legs.
If there is no redness and it is not abnormally hot to the touch hes fine.

put some heat on the injection site, take some ibuprofen, put some more heat on the injection site, some more ibuprofen, lol and then repeat, it should go away shortly, messaging the site hurts like a bitch but works also, if i pin in my legs i go train them right away to try and disperse any extra oil or water that is doscile. also tell your friend to inject very slowy, when i inject suspension or anything at that matter i go super slow and it doesnt hurt at all, i can inject two cc's of suspension in my delts and as long as i inject slowly and i mean very slowly (1min per cc) i have no pain or discomfort whatsoever, hope this helps your friend out, it sucks when your in pain for days after an injection, cant hardly walk or sit down, ouch i feel his pain

I can tell you I notice more pain when using a 23g instead of a 25g. Pinned last Wed with a 23 and still aching on Sunday. pinned on glute not quad.

for me its give and take...sometimes i wont bleed...will hardly feel the pin go in....then sometimes i bleed a bit....the worst was a lump the size of a golf ball and it was hard to touch...i just injected slower and no more than 2mls per pin...havent had problems since.

I have a buddy that rolls out the injection site using a styrofoam log for lack of better termanology.
Im not sure if this will effect absorption rates but it likely would.
Water based suspensions usually require bigger pins to administer this doesnt help either.
I tried my first glute injection in a while about a week ago and it was so difficult to reach back there I wiggled around and wound up bleeding all over.. There was a huge mouse on my ass thats still there.
I think its just the winny and hes gonna have to accept the pain as part of the cycle.

lol @ huge mouse on your ass....know what you mean...had the exact same shit happen 2 me yesterday..i always pin my glute..never did another site..worx for me..i think sometimes the pins are not refined enough..like theres a burr or something there where its not as smooth of an insertion as it could be...only way i can explain it i guess...rotate ass cheeks and every now and then..after doing the EXACT same thing twice a week..i have an issue..

You can always hit your ventros. They will give you 2 new sites if your only comfortable hitting the ass.
Do you use a drawing pin?
You would be surprised how much damage a rubber stopper can do to a needle tip.

He mentioned to me today that he has some redness (more of a pinkness really, I saw him at the gym) but the area is not abnormally hot to the touch, and he said pain is becoming less and the achiness subsiding.
Should he try to get into to see his doc or see how it does over the next couple days. (he did the shot saturday and now its tuesday, does this sort of thing take like a week to get back to normal?)

no doc bro it will be fine it usually takes about 5 days for that pain to subside! def no need to go to doc, i have had my enitre arm swell up from my delt to my wrist from some shitty t400, im still here and my arm didnt have to get cut off, hurt like a bitch, but its all part of the game this will not be the last time your friend has discomfort from gear im pretty sure. just let time take care of it
