Prep & Sex Drive
How do you girls find your drive during prep, mine was pretty much non-existent during prep for my first show. I'm heading into prep for my second show and I really don't want that to happen again. I don't want to put my hubby through this again, can anyone give me any suggestions?

Oh goodness, when I am in ketosis, my sex drive is thru the roof! I think it is because the lack of sweets satisfaction, I have to subsitute something.
The only thing I can suggest is change your state of mind and consider it a reward!

When I did my first show, as bad as it sounds, I was out EVERY WEEKEND in the skimpiest outfits I could find. I lived in Ft. Lauderdale so it was awesome. EVERY FREEKIN WEEKEND. I didn't drink at all but I got in a good 5 hrs of high energy cardio (dancing) 2x/week. The only problem was, outside of that, my schedule was work / gym / sleep / repeat. Very little actual 'action'. But goddam I felt hawt!

If your sex drive is down don't forget that we like getting blown, it's much better than nothing. It seems like once a couple gets married the woman takes a hiatus from going down on us.

I never have a decrease in sex drive until like the last two weeks before a show. Aside from those two weeks I'd say my sex drive goes up.... I think about it all the damn time, if I'm dating I'm all over my man, and if I'm not dating me and my sex toys are getting it on frequently....lol.

I guess it was just me then, working full time and a pt job and with 3 kids and their activities constantly keeping me on the go, I was always just so bagged. I'm going to have to make sure I get more help and more rest with this prep so this won't become an issue. Thanks ladies.

Sassy's dead on. If you're not getting enough sleep or recovery then I'm sure your sex drive may go down, but I think that's characteristic whether you're dieting or not....
I just know for me I'm usually a pretty overly sexual woman but the first 6 weeks or so of a diet...it goes throught the damn roof hahaha.

Sex is great, but it can also be a great stress relief. I agree its a challenge during the last few weeks because you're so depleted, but I do tend to sleep really well after .... solo or not....
