From what I remember his dad was Samoan (A wrestler, might have just been called the samoan) and his mother was white (pictures in his biography).
Always was my favourite wrestler. Very open about steroids too. He says he did them once in high school, found they did nothing for him, and never took them again. Wasn't overly critical of them though.
This is when I was like, 8 anyway.

I lust The Rock. Not a fan of the facial hair though.
You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

He hits my gym from time to time. I've only seen him working out in there once, and leaving another time. Can't ever catch him. It's funny, because nobody bothers him. They just work out beside him and maybe catch a tiny bit of convo between sets. He's given some people some exercise tips and everything, and they love to be like, "The Rock showed me that!"

I wish he would make a short return with the WWE. They so miss his mic skills.

His Dad, Rocky Johnson was a WWF great from back in the day. He and Tony Atlas were the first Black tag-team champions. He was from Canada.
His mom is the daughter of chief Peter Maivia, another popular Samoan wrestler from back in the 70's, so basically, he's was a 3rd generation wrestler.
