Upper Power Day
* 10 Mins. warm-up on the Arc Trainer
* All lifts include 2-3 warm-up sets.
UPPER POWER DAY
Barbell Incline Press: 135X10, 185X10 (warm-up sets), 225X5, 245X5, 225X4 -- Going to start incorporating heavy barbell inclines from here on out to my routine. Wanted the last set to 5 reps but no cigar this week.
Bent Over Barbell Rows: 135X10, 225X10 (warm-up sets) 315X5, 315X5, 315X5 -- Let me know if someone need a rower
Dumbbell Shoulder Press: 50X10 (warm-up set) 90X5, 90X5, 80X5 -- Wanted the 3rd set with 90's but had to lower the weights to get the correct form.
Barbell Shrugs: 225X10 (warm-up set) 405X10, 405X10, 405X10 -- Traps to the ears on these, nice burnnn on the traps.
ABS
Cable Weighted Abs: 140X25X4 sets
Hanging Leg Lifts: BodyweightX25X4 sets
CARDIO
10 mins. Post weight training on Arc Machine
TIME
1 hour and 15 mins. consisting of stretching, warm-up, weights, cardio and post stretch
OVERALL RATING: 5/5
Incorporating barbell incline presses from here on out on upper power days. Had to, I maxed out on my gym's dumbbells and want to get the most stimulation on my chest. Numbers should improve in the coming weeks as I get used to the movement (path of the bar) again. I'm pretty happy overall with my session tonight.
Test Drive: 2 in the A.M., 2 30-45 mins. prior to training
Plasmatic EP: 1 1/2 scoop pre-workout
Ennercell: Intra-Workout

It's more like a contest prep style. I'm doing Layne Norton's Power/Hypertrophy training with my own twist on the workout routine which is adding FST-7's. I've seen lots of contest preppers achieve great success doing this so I am giving it a try.
I'm doing 2 body transformation challenges at another site so why I'm cutting at the moment.

Every contest prep I'm seen doing this routine. So I say why not. Also I know someone who recently became a natty pro using the similar routine Good things lead to this training so I'm all about it now. FST-7 is a must though, I've made nice gains from it.

yes and no lol. i was dieting for a show which i decided to hold off on, it was supposed to be this saturday. Now i am going to do a show at the end of April 2011 so i am going to try keep my bf down in the winter, for me i pack on bf easily on off season so im only going to be running high carb for about 3-4 weeks. Im going to do a bench contest in about a month, then start dieting for april at the end of december. I actually created my own workout program for Mass/Leaness/and strength that i started implementing last week. ive got a long on here about it.
