I'm not saying I believe everything he claims. I don't think he's lying per se, I just think that he has a warped sense on a lot of his lifts as to what 'counts' compared to most. For example I doubt this magical deadlift he speaks of he could walk into a powerlifting comp and pull it off. As described he had two plates hanging in the center of the bar on a chain. Chances are those plates don't come into play until he's halfway into the lift already. That still leaves 945lb, but then he's probably up on blocks too :P.

Everyone knows somebody like this. Friend claims he can do 225lb bench for 85 reps, posts the video eventually and they're half reps at best (still was impressive). Or as for his education talk, I have another friend who took 4yr Com Sci and then decided to go into medicine. He'll have been in school for ~11 years by the time he's done!

People do weird things. In the end I don't really care I got a good laugh out of the video, but I think my laugh was a little more lighthearted than some of yours. Whatever the guys doing it's obviously working for him so far.

Well obviously something he's doing is working because at 6 foot the guy is a fucking tank.

whats ridiculous is claiming he uses oil..there is nothing about the look of his arm that smells of oil use....

I've seen him do 5 plates for multiple reps just fine...long time ago though.

We can all agree that he is a big dude, but he lies about some of the weight he lifts. Nothing new in BB or PL.
