I want to make sure I've got the general opinion correct:
The hardcore manly bodybuilding purists are going to beat up other men in a declaration of how "gay" these other men are. And the reason these other men are "gay" is because they are wearing knee length swimming trunks to be judged on their physique rather than shiny thongs?
And the un-gay men in the shiny thongs (gotta show off the glutes that came in) insist that to be un-gay, you too MUST wear a similar thong to be judged by other men, or risk an ass kicking?
I don't have a dog in this fight, I just wanted to make sure I was caught up to speed on what we've all agreed upon here

I am sure you will have to qualify for both divisions like other sports, its a totally different division and sport. You gotta qualify I would think. If they do allow that then it's not fair at all.
Don't know if that sounds right or if you get the point I was trying to make. Lol
I would think it would be hard to decide of ones physique or body builder. What is the deciding factor? Bicep size, body fat, if you look in shape or too much in shape? I think it's a Horrible move.
I do see some points on supp companies expanding to the general public and guys who want to be big but not too big. But isn't that what different weight classes are for? To separate freaky huge from in shape 160lber?

Yeah, it could of been said a little more tactful but I agree. It is NOT needed. The shows are long enough. It's a bodybuilding show so keep to it. Does anyone know when this "division" is supposed to start and is it before the bodybuilders ?
If so, I think everyone should stay out of the auditorium while that physique garbage is being done and then go back in and sit down for the real reason we are there, the bodybuilders. I think that would get thier attention pretty quick.

I like sculpting my glutes and showing them off in a thong! No homo
Nah, bodybuilding's cool but it's kinda hypocritical to call bodybuilding minus the thong gay lol. Just because the competitors a little smaller. But still considered huge to most people.

ray lewis cant even bench close to 650 pounds, that would only be 65 pounds less than scott mendelsons raw bench i swear some people are retarded. i dont believe LT benched 610 or squatted 820 lmao thats right up there with the top powerlifters at his weight
ill have more respect for the bikini competitors than these guys because they will be doing it because they dont have what it takes to be competitive in bodybuilding, and a lot of the people who will be supporting it are probably in the same boat and just care about looking good at the beach

I just don't understand all the "hardcore" bodybuilders that act like the IFBB is going to reward guys that have only been training for a few weeks and munch on doughnuts and soda. IMO it's gonna be guys that are ripped but not dehydrated, and well muscled but not synthol popping out of bodybparts. Just because someone doesn't wanna be Mr.O doesn't mean there isn't a place for them in the sport. Calm down guys!
