Palin Endorses West Virginia's John Raese -- for Pennsylvania Senate Seat

Sarah Palin, the king- and queen-maker of campaign 2010, extended her reach to the mid-Atlantic region Wednesday, but the former Alaska governor got her Lower 48 mixed up. She endorsed West Virginia Republican John Raese for the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania. Raese is opposing Democrat Joe Manchin for a Senate seat in neighboring West Virginia.

Palin gave Raese the nod in a Twitter posting, saying "Pennsylvania makes sense 2 send GOP 2 DC 2 avoid PA economics disaster that will occur under Obama/Pelosi Cap & Trade scheme, workers need Raese." Palin, who has hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers, eventually took down the mistaken post and replaced it with a corrected version.

The cap-and-trade climate bill that she mentioned is opposed by business interest in both states, where coal mining companies are major employers. But the legislation is dead, for this year at least. And Raese's rival Manchin, the West Virginia governor, is so opposed to it that he ran a TV ad showing him firing a rifle shot through a cap-and-trade target.

The actual Pennsylvania Senate race matches the GOP's Pat Toomey against Democratic Rep. Joe Sestak. Back in West Virginia, Raese's residency has been an issue in the campaign. He has a business in Morgantown, but his wife lives and votes in Florida and his children go to school there.

after what the current president has done - i'd vote for her to clean it up.

Just because she's a woman, it doesnt mean she can clean THAT up...

All I have ever heard her do through out her campaigns is badmouth & mudsling her opponents..

Man, I really hope some of you don't vote.

Obama got handed a bag of shit by the last administration...can't make much more than a shit sandwich with what he's been given. You really expect him to have shit fixed up in under two years considering the circumstances?

Either way, I'm a libertarian so I can't really stand either party.
